Cryptic Place Name Quiz
One of my daughters, married and with two very young girls, is responsible each year to decorate the Christmas table. AZAHAR CN resounding success of SYNC IN CATALONIA
The Synchro Azahar CN participated last Saturday, February 20, Interclubs Championship held in Berga (Barcelona) for over 12 years. In total 11 clubs competed (9 Catalans and 2 of the Comunidad Valenciana) and did so in 6 levels.
The team went with 7 swimmers to the competition. Despite having suffered 3 killed in previous days and have been involved with 2 swimmers with physical problems, the SC did Azahar Synchro 4 metals (2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze), with the club that won the most medals despite to have far fewer swimmers than most other clubs.
A full team out at level II, where three swimmers, Eva Ribelles, Noelia and Laia Vicente Tirado, won gold medals, silver and bronze respectively. Also at level III, the only participant, Noa Shopkeeper, won the gold medal for the new club of La Plana. Participants in Level IV, Olga López, Laura Balma Blasco and Faloutsos, also won a meritorious 5 th, 7 th and 12 th position.
Thus, despite the long trip to Bergen, the issue of CN Azahar Synchro enjoyed a day of competition and coexistence very rewarding. The swimmers had a great time it finally his efforts were rewarded with a shower of medals for the club.
Congratulations, then, to the swimmers for their efforts, the coaching staff for their work, enthusiasm and commitment, and the club in general for the sacrifice performed by the grassroots sport and synchronized swimming.
